2022 COVID Guidelines for In-Person Events

Thank you for your patience with us as we navigate the COVID pandemic.  Because of the recent downward trends, the FLC COVID task group has recommended the relaxing of our mask requirements so that worship services and activities at church are now mask optional.  First Lutheran Church takes your safety, as well as that of our volunteers and staff seriously, and so we ask that all participants in in-person events observe the following guidelines:

  • If you have a health condition that puts you at risk, of have not been fully vaccinated, you should consider continuing to wear a high quality (N95 or KN95) mask for your protection.
  • Anyone who has exhibited signs of illness within the last 48 hours, such as fever, cough, aches, or other symptoms should remain home.
  • Anyone who has had close contact with someone who recently tested positive for COVID should also remain home unless receiving a negative test result for COVID.

Finally, as a matter of mutual care and love, please respect the choices of others, whether they choose to mask or go unmasked.  We will continue to monitor the local situation so that we can all remain safe.
